NIGER
WODAABE
NiGER is a very poor country. it is the largest nation in West Africa, with 1.270.000 km2, but the Sahara Desert covers 80%, and the rest is in the process of desertification as it has had severe draughts.
The capital is Niamey. it is a land locked country, and this contributes to keep it from developing. On the south its neighbours are Nigeria and Benin, to the west Burkina Faso and Mali, to the north Algeria and Libya, and to the east chad.
The rural populations are clustered in the southwest and the central south areas, which are more fertile, the Sahel, but they are barely managing subsistence economy.
